Visually inspect the Auxilec starter generator mounting adapter in accordance with Socata TBM 700 Alert Service Bulletin SB 70-071-24 dated November 1995.\n\n 2. Either replace the Auxilec starter generator mounting adapter in accordance with Socata TBM 700 Alert Service Bulletin SB 70-071-24 dated November 1995 or replace the Auxilec starter generator mounting adapter and the attachment clamp in accordance with Socata TBM 700 Service Bulletin SB 70-072-24 dated January 1996. Actions required by this Directive are designed in the first instance to increase the likelihood of early detection of cracked adapters and to provide a more efficient method of mounting the starter generator. It requires owners/operators to visually inspect the Auxilec starter-generator mounting adapter for cracking and to replace the adapter (or the adapter plus attachment clamp) under specified Socata service bulletins; replacement options stop the need for repetitive inspections. The measure is intended to detect cracked adapters early and to provide a more secure mounting, creating inspection, parts and downtime costs for operators."},"kimi_summary":{"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This is an amendment to an existing Airworthiness Directive (AD/TBM 700/15). A visual inspection is mandated before further flight and every 25 flight hours; any cracked adapter must be replaced before the next flight. As a terminating action, both the adapter and its attachment clamp must be replaced within 100 flight hours (or by 30 April 1996). The measures prevent starter‑generator detachment and related electrical or engine start failures."},"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
