The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.\n\nAD/SF340/61\n\nAmdt 1\n\n \nCargo Bay Placards 7/2000\n\nApplicability: Model SF340B with serial numbers SF340B-162, \\-163, \\-171, \\-205, \\-207, \\-230, \\-276, \\-\n\n281, \\-289, \\-292, \\-296, \\-302, \\-308, \\-310, \\-311, \\-315, \\-316, \\-318, \\-327, \\-328, \\-331, \\-333,\n\n\\-336, \\-337, \\-351, \\-355, \\-357, \\-360 through \\-365, \\-368, \\-378 and \\-399.\n\nRequirement: Action in accordance with SAAB Service Bulletin 340-25-244 Revision 1.\n\nNote: LFV AD 1-118 R1 refers.\n\nCompliance: Before 13 October 2000, unless already accomplished. This Amendment becomes effective on 13 July 2000.\n\nBackground: With the installation of a certain baggage net in combination with the kinked bulkhead, it has been found that the forward webbing of the net is too close to the aft face of the bulkhead. This situation may result in baggage overloading the bulkhead’s floor attachments. This Directive requires the installation of placards.\n\nAmendment 1 is issued in response to a revision of the related LBA AD which adds three aircraft serial numbers to applicability.\n\nThe original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 11 September 1997.\n\n![Signature of Bernard Malcolm Hole Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority](image.003.png) \n\nBernard Malcolm Hole\n\nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority 2 June 2000\n\n![](image.002.png) \n\nThe above AD is notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 14 June 2000.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
