With the refuel/defuel panel removed, loosen the four screws securing the lighting panel to the front and remove the rear cover.\n\n 3. Locate the lighting panel Jack 30 QA under the rear cover and remove the screw securing the wire QA636-20. Remove the wire from Jack 30 QA and reinstall the screw.\n\n 4. Cap and stow the wire QA636-20 and reassemble the refuel/defuel panel.\n\n 5. Placard the lighting panel with \\`Lights Inop\\`.\n\n 6. Reinstall and test the refuel/defuel panel in accordance with AMM 28-21-05.\n\nNote: Swedish (LFV) AD 1-050 and FAA AD 92-03-09 Amdt 39-8164 refer.\n\nCompliance: Prior to 25 July 1992.\n\nBackground: Reports have been received that arcing and smoke has been observed in the vicinity of the fuel/defuel panel. This Directive requires action to preclude the possibility of a fire during refuelling, when residual fuel or vapours in the nozzle or receptacle could be ignited if splashed or blown towards the panel, by requiring that the lighting electrical supply be disconnected.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
