The helicopter was fitted with a frame 5295 comprising plates and angles assembled by riveting that corresponds to the original definition of that frame i.e. before embodiment of MOD 0722907. The crack in frame 5295 was detected subsequent to a daily check, during which the presence of cracks were detected in the outer skin and in the butt strap where the rail of the MGB sliding cowling is attached on frame 5295. |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nDavid Villiers \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n22 February 2008","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/S-PUMA/74","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/S-PUMA/74","content":"## AD/S-PUMA/74","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Outer Skin, Butt Strap & Frame 5295","sectionType":"part","heading":"Outer Skin, Butt Strap & Frame 5295","content":"## Outer Skin, Butt Strap & Frame 5295","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"4/2008 TX","sectionType":"part","heading":"4/2008 TX","content":"## 4/2008 TX","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":4,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This is a standard Airworthiness Directive with a focused, single-purpose scope: addressing a specific structural cracking issue in frame 5295 of AS 332 Super Puma helicopters.
