This AD is prompted by an incident involving failure of a shaft and bearing assembly and servo clevis shaft resulting in loss of tail rotor control. The actions specified in this AD are intended to prevent failure of a shaft and bearing assembly, loss of tail rotor pitch and yaw control, and subsequent loss of control of a helicopter. |\n| ----------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nCharles Lenarcic \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n27 August 2007","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/S-92/5","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/S-92/5","content":"## AD/S-92/5","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Tail Rotor Pitch Change Bearing Assembly","sectionType":"part","heading":"Tail Rotor Pitch Change Bearing Assembly","content":"## Tail Rotor Pitch Change Bearing Assembly","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"11/2007 TX","sectionType":"part","heading":"11/2007 TX","content":"## 11/2007 TX","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This AD maintains its original narrow scope — addressing a specific safety-critical failure mode in a specific helicopter model with a specific part.
