(Series 'C' 16:9 gearing).\n\nRequirement: 1. The following operating restrictions shall be observed in all aircraft in which are installed Pratt & Whitney R1830 engines fitted with the propellers, blades or non- splined reduction gears as listed below:-\n\n| Installation Conditions                                                                                                   | Operating Restrictions                                              |\n| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n| (a) 23E50 propellers installed and engines fitted with non-spline type reduction gears                                    | Avoid continuous operation within the ranges of 1550 to 1650 r.p.m. |\n| (b) Blades 6353A-19 6153A-186261A-06461A-0fitted and vibration absorber as described in Hamilton SB No. 96 not installed. | Avoid continuous operation within the ranges of 1900 to 2050 r.p.m. |\n| (c) Engines fitted with non- spline-type reduction gear (regardless of what propellers are installed)                     | Avoid take-off operation within the ranges of 2450 to 2700 r.p.m.   |\n\n2.
