The issuing of this AD is intended to prevent hydraulic fluid leaking from the left and right hydraulic fluid pump and to prevent the flow of hydraulic fluid into the engine compartment. |\n\n| | The loss of hydraulic fluid can result in loss of aeroplane hydraulic system pressure and the consequent loss of hydraulic system functions including gear extension/retraction, spoiler functions, and anti-skid braking system actuation. The inability of the hydraulic installation to isolate flow of hydraulic fluid could result in a hazardous amount of flammable fluid in the corresponding engine compartment. These conditions, if not corrected, could result in loss of system functions and/or fire in the engine compartment. |\n| --- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nJames Coyne \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n28 November 2008","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/PREMIER/7","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/PREMIER/7","content":"## AD/PREMIER/7","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Hydraulic Pump Fitting","sectionType":"part","heading":"Hydraulic Pump Fitting","content":"## Hydraulic Pump Fitting","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"1/2009","sectionType":"part","heading":"1/2009","content":"## 1/2009","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":5,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The AD's scope is consistent with its stated safety objective: it targets a defined subset of Model 390 aeroplanes and prescribes specific parts and procedures to prevent hydraulic fluid leaks and engine‑compartment contamination.
