The requirement was in response to reports of engine fires and oil leaks from P/N LW-13388 gaskets installed since April 1999.Amendment 1 reflected the manufacturer’s release of an improved gasket which eliminated the need for an inspection and repetitive gasket replacement and provided a terminating action for the requirements of the original issue of this directive.Amendment 2 is an administrative action which changes the FAA AD reference from AD 2000-18-53 to superseding FAA AD 2002-12-07 which formally introduced terminating actions and AMOC for the USA. |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nMike Higgins \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n5 February 2013","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/LYC/105 Amdt 2","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/LYC/105 Amdt 2","content":"## AD/LYC/105 Amdt 2","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Oil Filter Converter Plate Gasket","sectionType":"part","heading":"Oil Filter Converter Plate Gasket","content":"## Oil Filter Converter Plate Gasket","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"3/2013","sectionType":"part","heading":"3/2013","content":"## 3/2013","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
