Compliance with this SB is optional, however the repetitive requirements of this AD are terminated following compliance with SB 33-JA 901142.\n\nCompliance: 1. Aircraft with constructor numbers 601 through 875; Initially prior to 30 May 1990, and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 2500 hours time in service or 12 months whichever is the sooner.\n\n2. Aircraft with constructor numbers 876 to 909 inclusive, and 911; Initially within 2500 hours time in service, or 12 months after 30 May 1990, and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 2500 hours time in service or 12 months whichever is the sooner.\n\nThe compliance times of the previous issue of this Directive are as stated. This re- issue is effective from 11 July 1991.\n\nBackground: Operators have reported cases of the cabin filling with smoke, and in one instance flames were seen coming from the cabin roof area. Investigation has shown this to be caused by arcing and/or overheating of the cabin fluorescent lighting power unit wiring.\n\nAmendment 1 to this AD is issued to revise the Requirement Document amendment status, amend the S/No range referred to in Compliance 2 and to advise of the availability of a terminating Service Bulletin. No additional work is required by this amendment.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated. Configure AI_GATEWAY_API_KEY or use a provider module.
