A possibility exists that a type certified engine may become contaminated with an affected Type A circlip should piston kit P/N T4A543A0D have been installed. The Service Bulletin referenced in this Airworthiness Directive requires the replacement of Type A circlips. This Airworthiness Directive also instructs that all Type A circlips held as spares should be discarded, and prohibits the installation of all Type A circlips as described in Service Bulletin JSB 033-1. |\n| Remarks | Due to the nature of the unsafe condition, a formal consultation process was not possible prior to this AD being published.
