The RAT generator was designed to provide emergency electrical power to essential systems in case of loss of all other sources of aircraft AC electrical power.Since this condition may occur in other appliances of the same type and affects flight safety, a corrective action is required. Thus, sufficient reason exists to request compliance with this AD in the indicated time limit. |\n| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |\n\n![](image.001.png)\n\nWilliam David \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n15 October 2009","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/ERJ 190/24","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/ERJ 190/24","content":"## AD/ERJ 190/24","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Ram Air Turbine","sectionType":"part","heading":"Ram Air Turbine","content":"## Ram Air Turbine","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"21/2009","sectionType":"part","heading":"21/2009","content":"## 21/2009","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
