Further investigation showed that the piston of the double shuttle valve had temporarily remained in the middle position allowing high pressure to reach the low pressure side of the roll spoiler actuator; this resulted in deformation of the housing cap and subsequent hydraulic fluid loss. This AD requires the replacement of the double shuttle valve to prevent hydraulic fluid loss. |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nJames Coyne \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n29 November 2005","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/DO 328/23","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/DO 328/23","content":"## AD/DO 328/23","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Roll Spoiler Double Shuttle Valve","sectionType":"part","heading":"Roll Spoiler Double Shuttle Valve","content":"## Roll Spoiler Double Shuttle Valve","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"1/2006","sectionType":"part","heading":"1/2006","content":"## 1/2006","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The directive's scope is confined to the serial number range and the single corrective action described to address the documented leakage mechanism.
