The identified non-compliances were then assessed using Transport Canada Policy Letter No. 525-001, to determine if mandatory corrective action is required. The assessment showed that it is necessary to introduce CDCCL, in order to preserve critical fuel tank system ignition source prevention features during configuration changes such as modifications and repairs, or during maintenance actions. Failure to preserve critical fuel tank system ignition source prevention features could result in a fuel tank explosion. Revisions have been made to Part 2 “Airworthiness Limitations List” of the Maintenance Program Manuals of the affected aircraft models to introduce the required CDCCL. |\n| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nCharles Lenarcic \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n16 January 2008","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/DHC-8/134","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/DHC-8/134","content":"## AD/DHC-8/134","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Fuel System Safety","sectionType":"part","heading":"Fuel System Safety","content":"## Fuel System Safety","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"3/2008 DM","sectionType":"part","heading":"3/2008 DM","content":"## 3/2008 DM","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"A positive credit balance is required for all requests, including BYOK, so fallback providers remain available.
