Fuel leak check:** Before every flight, inspect the underside of the fuselage near the fuel tanks for any signs of leaking fuel (stains, dampness, or smells). The pilot can do this check themselves if they're licensed to fly Beavers, and they don't need to write it down. **If you find a leak, the plane cannot fly until it's fixed.**\n\n**2. No smoking signs:** Immediately install \"NO SMOKING\" signs in the cabin where all passengers and crew can clearly see them.\n\n**Who it affects:** All DHC-2 Beaver models, unless the aircraft has been specifically modified to prevent fuel tank leaks (and you can prove this to the Secretary of the Department)."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/ad-dhc-2-1-fuel-tanks-inspection-and-no-smoking-placards","history":"/api/acts/ad-dhc-2-1-fuel-tanks-inspection-and-no-smoking-placards/history","analysis":"/api/acts/ad-dhc-2-1-fuel-tanks-inspection-and-no-smoking-placards/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/ad-dhc-2-1-fuel-tanks-inspection-and-no-smoking-placards/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/ad-dhc-2-1-fuel-tanks-inspection-and-no-smoking-placards/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/ad-dhc-2-1-fuel-tanks-inspection-and-no-smoking-placards/documents"}}
