Tail rotor blade tuning weights are installed at each blade position to eliminate vibration and to preclude any risk of failure at the pitch control of each blade.Amendment 1 is issued in response to an EASA AD, which introduces a revision of the Requirement document, clarifies the identification requirements of paragraph 2.C. and corrects part numbers in paragraph 3.E of the requirement document. |\n| ----------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nRichard Castles \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n20 April 2006","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/DAUPHIN/63 Amdt 1","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/DAUPHIN/63 Amdt 1","content":"## AD/DAUPHIN/63 Amdt 1","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Tail Rotor Blade Tuning Weights","sectionType":"part","heading":"Tail Rotor Blade Tuning Weights","content":"## Tail Rotor Blade Tuning Weights","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"6/2006","sectionType":"part","heading":"6/2006","content":"## 6/2006","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":4,"scope_assessment":{"changed":true,"description":"The original AD (implied by the Amendment 1 designation and the 2003 compliance date) appears to have required only the installation of tuning weights on operational helicopters.
