This Directive is not applicable to engines overhauled in Australia, or by organisations other than TCM.\n\nRequirement: In accordance with the procedure detailed in FAA Airworthiness Directive 93-11-03, inspect the engine for evidence of IO-360 series connecting rods being fitted.\n\nCompliance: Effective 1 December 1993: Unless previously accomplished, engines with less than 100 hours time in service; prior to further flight.\n\nNote: TCM and the FAA have determined; engines with incorrect con-rods fitted may fail before 100 hours time in service.\n\nBackground: This Directive requires the inspection of applicable engines to determine if the correct connecting rods were fitted by the manufacturer. The requirement follows advice of a number of O-200 and O-300 engines shipped by TCM with IO-360 series connecting rods fitted. The IO-360 connecting rod has a piston pin bushing diameter of 1.00\" versus 0.923\" for the 0-200 and 0-300 connecting rod.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"A positive credit balance is required for all requests, including BYOK, so fallback providers remain available.
