The identified non-compliances were then assessed using Transport Canada Policy Letter No. 525-001, to determine if mandatory corrective action is required. |\n\n| | The assessment showed that it is necessary to introduce CDCCL, in order to preserve critical fuel tank system ignition source prevention features during configuration changes such as modifications and repairs, or during maintenance actions. Failure to preserve critical fuel tank system ignition source prevention features could result in a fuel tank explosion. Revision has been made to Canadair Regional Jet Model CL-600-2B19 Maintenance Requirements Manual, CSP A-053, Part 2, Appendix D, “Fuel System Limitations” to introduce the required CDCCL. |\n| --- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nCharles Lenarcic \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n16 January 2008","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/CL-600/92","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/CL-600/92","content":"## AD/CL-600/92","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Fuel System Safety - Critical Design Con","sectionType":"part","heading":"Fuel System Safety - Critical Design Configuation Control Limitations","content":"## Fuel System Safety - Critical Design Configuation Control Limitations","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"3/2008 DM","sectionType":"part","heading":"3/2008 DM","content":"## 3/2008 DM","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The Directive enforces incorporation of CDCCL items already introduced in Bombardier's TR 2D-2 and requires procedural highlighting and maintenance of those design features (Requirement 1 & 2).
