An investigation revealed that the failed shear pins did not meet the design specifications due to a quality control problem. This Directive requires replacement of the elevator flutter damper shear pins to restore their original certified fatigue life.Amendment 1 of this airworthiness directive is issued to correct a typographical error in the serial number range of aircraft listed in Requirement 1. This amendment makes no changes to the technical requirements and the original compliance dates remain unchanged. The original issue of this airworthiness directive became effective on 13 July 2000. |\n\n![HIGGINS_M](image.001.png) \nMike Higgins \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n1 July 2013","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/CL-600/36 Amdt 1","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/CL-600/36 Amdt 1","content":"## AD/CL-600/36 Amdt 1","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Elevator Flutter Damper Shear Pins","sectionType":"part","heading":"Elevator Flutter Damper Shear Pins","content":"## Elevator Flutter Damper Shear Pins","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"14/2013","sectionType":"part","heading":"14/2013","content":"## 14/2013","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"Amendment 1 corrects a typographical error in the serial-number range in Requirement 1; it makes no changes to the technical requirements or compliance dates.
