In addition, other Models SR20 and SR22 aeroplanes have been found with misrigging of the flight controls that could lead to jamming. The issuing of this AD is intended to prevent the possibility of jamming of the rudder-aileron interconnect system, which may result in loss of rudder and aileron flight controls. |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nDavid Punshon \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n6 March 2008","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/CIRRUS/9","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/CIRRUS/9","content":"## AD/CIRRUS/9","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Rudder and Aileron Rigging","sectionType":"part","heading":"Rudder and Aileron Rigging","content":"## Rudder and Aileron Rigging","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"5/2008","sectionType":"part","heading":"5/2008","content":"## 5/2008","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The AD's scope is consistent with its stated background intent to prevent rudder/aileron jamming: it targets a defined population of aircraft (listed serial numbers) and prescribes inspection, correction, hardware replacement and reporting.
