CASA has determined that these ADs may be applicable when an aircraft enters the Australian register. This Directive is issued to ensure compliance with all State of Design ADs. CASA appreciates that, due to date of aircraft manufacture or aircraft configuration and modification status, some of the ADs listed in Table 1 may not be applicable to aircraft registered in Australia. |\n| ----------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![](image.001.png)\n\nMike Higgins \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n8 October 2010","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/CF6/78","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/CF6/78","content":"## AD/CF6/78","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"State of Design Airworthiness Directives","sectionType":"part","heading":"State of Design Airworthiness Directives","content":"## State of Design Airworthiness Directives","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"21/2010","sectionType":"part","heading":"21/2010","content":"## 21/2010","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":true,"description":"CASA extended the practical reach of the FAA 'State of Design' ADs by requiring that listed once‑only AD actions be checked and, if applicable, completed for CF6‑powered aircraft entering the Australian register even though the FAA compliance dates have passed.
