The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.\n\n![](image.001.png)\n\nCessna 650 (Citation III) Series Aeroplanes\n\nAD/CESSNA 650/6\n\nAmdt 1\n\n \nMLG Side Brace Assembly 13/2002\n\nApplicability: Cessna Model 650 aeroplanes serial number \\-0001 through \\-0241 inclusive, and serial number \\-7001 through \\-7112 inclusive.\n\nRequirement: 1. Carry out a one time inspection of the left hand and right hand side brace mechanism assemblies to determine part number for each assembly installed in accordance with Cessna Service bulletin SB650-32-47, including Cessna Service Bulletin Supplemental Data SB650-32-47.\n\n 2. If correct part number side brace mechanism assemblies are found as listed in Cessna Service Bulletin SB650-32-47, including Cessna Service Bulletin Supplemental Data SB650-32-47, no further action is required.\n 3. Replace any side brace mechanism assemblies found not to have the correct part number, in accordance with Cessna Service Bulletin SB650-32-47, including Cessna Service Bulletin Supplemental Data SB650-32-47.\n\nNote: FAA AD 2002-14-24 Amdt 39-12824 refers.\n\nCompliance: 1. Unless previously accomplished; within six months after 31 October 2002.\n\n 2. Following inspection of the side brace assemblies.\n 3. Prior to further flight.\n\nThe compliance times of the original issue of this Directive remain unchanged by this issue.\n\nThis Amendment becomes effective on 26 December 2002.\n\nBackground: The manufacturer has advised that certain part number side brace assemblies could unlock leading to a failure of the undercarriage. This could result in a gear up landing.\n\nAmendment 1 of this Airworthiness Directive is issued to correct a typographical error in the original issue.\n\nCessna 650 (Citation III) Series Aeroplanes\n\nAD/CESSNA 650/6 Amdt 1 (continued)\n\nThe original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 31 October 2002.\n\n![Signature of James Coyne Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority](image.002.png) \n\nJames Coyne\n\nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority 18 November 2002\n\n![](image.001.png) \n\nThe above AD is notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 4 December 2002.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
