The FAA AD was originally issued to preclude an unplanned engine stoppage. |\n\n| | Whilst CASA acknowledges that there have been no incidents of a similar nature reported in Australia and that 14 of the affected aeroplanes are currently on the Australian register, CASA is required to publish State of design ADs which may affect Australian aircraft. Consequently, given the time since the FAA AD was made and the limited number of serial numbers of affected aircraft in Australia, the compliance in this Directive is extended from that in the FAA AD of ‘Prior to the next flight’ to ‘At the next scheduled maintenance but no later than 25 September 2009’. |\n| --- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nCharles Lenarcic \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n15 August 2008","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/CESSNA 400/117","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/CESSNA 400/117","content":"## AD/CESSNA 400/117","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Powerplant Electrical Wiring","sectionType":"part","heading":"Powerplant Electrical Wiring","content":"## Powerplant Electrical Wiring","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"10/2008","sectionType":"part","heading":"10/2008","content":"## 10/2008","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":2,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This AD maintains its original narrow scope — addressing a specific wiring defect in specific Cessna aircraft.
