It applies to specific Cessna 152 aircraft built between certain serial numbers.\n\n**What it does:**\n- Requires owners/operators to check that fuel tank labels and gauges show the **correct fuel capacity**\n- Mandates replacement of any incorrect labels or gauges with ones that match the actual tank size\n\n**Why it matters:**\n- Wrong fuel markings could lead pilots to miscalculate how far they can fly\n- This creates a serious safety risk if an aircraft runs out of fuel unexpectedly\n\n**Who must comply:**\n- Owners or operators of affected Cessna 152 and A152 aircraft (specific serial numbers listed)\n- Must be done within 100 flight hours after 31 May 1981\n\n**Key point:** This is a **mandatory safety fix** — not optional. It ensures pilots have accurate information for flight planning."}},"importantCases":[],"_links":{"self":"/api/acts/ad-cessna-150-37-fuel-quantity-placarding","history":"/api/acts/ad-cessna-150-37-fuel-quantity-placarding/history","analysis":"/api/acts/ad-cessna-150-37-fuel-quantity-placarding/analysis","conflicts":"/api/acts/ad-cessna-150-37-fuel-quantity-placarding/conflicts","importantCases":"/api/acts/ad-cessna-150-37-fuel-quantity-placarding/important-cases","documents":"/api/acts/ad-cessna-150-37-fuel-quantity-placarding/documents"}}
