To address and correct this situation, Honeywell International has published ASB 4006719-22-A0016 (Revised), that indentifies the affected servo-motors, recommending the removal of these units from the aircraft and including modification instructions to be accomplished prior to reinstallation. |\n| | EADS-CASA has determined that the flight safety of the C-212 aircraft is at risk. Consequently, SB-212-22-16 has been published to advise C-212 operators of this condition and to recommend that the affected servo-motors are modified or replaced with modified units. |\n\n| | For the reasons described above, this Directive requires the identification of the affected servo-motors and modification or replacement with modified units. |\n| --- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nCharles Lenarcic \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n9 September 2008","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/CASA/30","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/CASA/30","content":"## AD/CASA/30","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Autopilot Servo Drive Actuators","sectionType":"part","heading":"Autopilot Servo Drive Actuators","content":"## Autopilot Servo Drive Actuators","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"11/2008","sectionType":"part","heading":"11/2008","content":"## 11/2008","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The Directive confines its scope to C‑212‑CB/CC/CD/CE aircraft fitted with the two specified servo‑motor part numbers and mandates modification, replacement, and an installation prohibition.
