This part was factory-fitted to planes delivered after 5 December 1997, or may have been fitted during repairs since then.\n\n**How to tell if your plane is affected:**\nCheck the starter relay — if it has **only three terminals**, it must be replaced. The replacement part (P/N 22735) has **four terminals**.\n\n**What must be done:**\nReplace the faulty relay with the new one, following the manufacturer's instructions in **CAP Aviation Service Bulletin 000202** (dated 9 November 2000).\n\n**When it must be done:**\nWithin **50 hours of flying time** after 2 May 2001.\n\n**Why it matters:**\nThe faulty relay can **stick in the 'on' position** — either staying engaged after you release the start button, or randomly engaging during aerobatic manoeuvres.
