The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.\n\nC.A.C. Remove the fuel tanks and closely inspect front and rear spars for boom failures, web cracks or separation of the webs from booms. Also inspect the heavy ribs in this area for signs of structural damage or damage to the rib-to-spar joints.\n\n 2. Cut inspection holes in the No. 25 lower wing skin between ribs 8 and 9 port and starboard, and inspect the rear spar web in the vicinity of the undercarriage fittings for evidence of structural distress.\n\n 3. When inspecting booms, remove all varnish and thoroughly clean the woodwork or, alternatively, use the ink inspection technique or a 10X hand glass.\n\n 4. Repair damaged ribs or spars using a repair scheme approved under CAR 35.\n\nCompliance: Before further flight following each heavy landing.\n\nThis amendment becomes effective on 9 August 2001.\n\nBackground: This AD series is reinstated as the aircraft type has returned to the Aircraft Register.\n\nAmendment 1 is issued to update Requirement paragraph 4 to reflect current regulations.\n\nThe original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 15 August 1984.\n\n![](image.002.png) \n\nDavid Alan Villiers\n\nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority 22 June 2001\n\n![](image.001.png)\n\nThe above AD is notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 11 July 2001.\n\n \nPage 1 of 1","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"A positive credit balance is required for all requests, including BYOK, so fallback providers remain available.
