This defect had not appeared in the co-pilot’s (or dual) rudder bar installation and these dual rudder bar assemblies were exempt from examination at Issue 1 of the Requirement document. Following a recent discovery of this defect in a co-pilot’s rudder bar installation, Issue 2 of the Requirement document includes both left and right hand assemblies.\n\n![](image.002.jpeg) \n\nDavid Alan Villiers\n\nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority 19 July 2002\n\n![](image.001.png) \n\nThe above AD is notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 14 August 2002.\n\n \nPage 1 of 1","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"A positive credit balance is required for all requests, including BYOK, so fallback providers remain available.
