Inspect passenger seats over the wing spar carry-through location for correct part number G417-00-001.\n\n2. Replace any seat assembly not bearing part number G417-00-001 with an approved seat identified with the correct part number.\n\nCompliance: Within 100 hours’ time in service after 31 March 1986 or at the next scheduled inspection for Maintenance Release issue after 31 March 1986, whichever is the later.\n\nBackground: The Department has become aware that Ansair G381 and G396 seats have been modified without appropriate design approval to fit the spar carry-through location.
