Failure of the circuit breaker toggle switch could result in smoke in the cockpit and the inability to turn off the switch. |\n| | This Directive follows the intent of the FAA Directive, requiring the replacement of circuit breaker toggle switches with a P/N 35-380132-1 through 35-380132-53. However, it is revised to allow prior accomplishment, as the RAC service bulletin was issued in 2005 and may have already been accomplished. The Directive also extends compliance by 13 months until 25 September 2010, the final compliance time required by the FAA was 6 August 2009. |\n| | A draft version of this Directive was posted for public comment on the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) internet site on 9 July 2008.
