If the locking stud screw is located above and to the left of the barometric scale adjustment knob, no further inspection or replacement is necessary.\n\n2. If the locking stud screw is located below and to the right of the barometric adjustment knob, replace the instrument within 50 hours time in service after\n\n17 October 1973. If disengagement occurs, replace the altimeter with a 58-380045-3 millibars scale 35,000 feet altimeter, or an equivalent. All future altimeters will have locking stud screws above and to the left of the adjusting knob as in 1. above.\n\nNote: Until replacement altimeters are installed forward pressure should be exerted on the knob whenever changing barometric settings.\n\nCompliance: As detailed in Requirement Document.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"_metrics":{"model":"kimi-k2.5","source":"moonshot-batch","completionTokens":1545},"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This directive remains narrowly focused on its original purpose: addressing a specific manufacturing defect in internally lighted altimeters installed in particular Beechcraft models.
