Install a spiral wrap around the wing fuel quantity wiring harness in accordance with Raytheon Mandatory Service Bulletin No. SB 28-3299, issued December 1999.\n\n2. Apply an adhesive sealant to the Wiggins couplings on the internal fuel tank wiring carry-through conduit in accordance with Raytheon SB 28-3299.\n\nNote: FAA AD 2000-19-04 Amdt 39-11905 refers.\n\nCompliance: For Requirement 1 \\- Within the next 3 calendar months after the effective date of this Directive or within the next 600 hours time-in-service after the effective date of this Directive, whichever occurs first.\n\nFor Requirement 2 \\- As for Requirement 1.\n\nThis Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 30 November 2000.\n\nBackground: The Federal Aviation Administration has received reports of chafed or shorted wing fuel quantity harness wires on Beech 1900 Model aeroplanes.
