Some operators erroneously believed that these parts were interchangeable. The effects of changing wing links has resulted in either a shorter or longer wing link being fitted, which introduces local stresses in the wing top and bottom surfaces local to rib 2, wing links and wing link fitting attachment and the fuselage local to Frames 26 and 29. This condition, if not corrected, could result in a reduction of structural integrity of the fuselage/wing attachment with possible catastrophic consequences. |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nDavid Villiers \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n16 January 2008","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/BAe 146/131","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/BAe 146/131","content":"## AD/BAe 146/131","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Wing Links","sectionType":"part","heading":"Wing Links","content":"## Wing Links","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"3/2008 DM","sectionType":"part","heading":"3/2008 DM","content":"## 3/2008 DM","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"The directive sticks to its stated purpose: to correct wing link interchange errors on the identified BAe 146 and AVRO 146‑RJ aircraft by requiring actions in EASA AD 2008‑0003.
