The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.\n\n \n\nBoeing 767 Series Aeroplanes\n\n \n\n# AD/B767/151 In-Flight Entertainment System FAA STC SA5134NM\n\n\n10/2001\n\n \n\n \n\nApplicability: Model 767-200 series aeroplanes modified by United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) SA5134NM.\n\n \n\nRequirement: 1. Modify the in-flight entertainment (IFE) system in accordance with Flight Structures Service Bulletin (SB) 90FS062-23-01, Revision 2, dated 21 September 2000 to change the source of electrical power for the IFE system from the main electrical bus to a utility electrical bus.\n\n \n\n2. IFE may not be installed on any aeroplane in accordance with STC SA5134NM unless it is modified in accordance with Flight Structures SB 90FS062-23-01, Revision 2.\n\n \n\nNote: FAA AD 2001-16-20 Amdt 39-12389 refers.\n\n \n\nCompliance: For Requirement 1 - Within 18 months after the effective date of this Directive.\n\n \n\nFor Requirement 2 - As of the effective date of this Directive.\n\n \n\nThis Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 4 October 2001.\n\n \n\nBackground: This Directive requires modification of the electrical circuits that supply power to IFE systems installed by STC SA5134NM.
