Requirement: Action in accordance with the technical requirements of FAA AD 99-04-11 Amdt 39-\n\n11035.\n\nNote: Boeing Alert Service Bulletin 737-54A1038 refers.\n\nCompliance: As specified in the Requirement document, with a revised effective date of 31 October 2002.\n\nThis Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 31 October 2002.\n\nBackground: The FAA received reports of damaged engine aft strut insulation blankets.
