forward boost pump for the centre fuel tank. The Directive requires modification of the conduit for the forward boost pump of the centre fuel tank and is issued to prevent chafing of the fuel boost pump wiring that could lead to arcing to the inside of the 45-degree angle fitting, which, in combination with flammable fuel vapours, could result in a fuel tank explosion and consequent loss of the aeroplane. |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nDavid Punshon \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n29 January 2008","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/B717/27","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/B717/27","content":"## AD/B717/27","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Fuel Boost Pump Wiring","sectionType":"part","heading":"Fuel Boost Pump Wiring","content":"## Fuel Boost Pump Wiring","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"3/2008","sectionType":"part","heading":"3/2008","content":"## 3/2008","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary":{"complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"Scope remains focused on the identified Model 717‑200 aeroplanes and the single conduit modification.
