The FAA subsequently issued FAA AD 97‑03‑06, which addresses the same unsafe condition. The AD requires an upgrade of the APU electronic control box software, a one-time action for which the compliance date and/or period has passed. This AD may be applicable to registered Australian aircraft. AD/APU/22 was issued to ensure all applicable State of Design ADs are complied with. |\n\n \n\n| | Amendment 1 of this directive replaces reference to French DGAC AD 96‑293(B) with reference to the State of Design AD. |\n| --- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![Text\nDescription automatically generated](image.001.jpeg)\n\nDavid Punshon \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n19 March 2021","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/APU/22 Amdt 1","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/APU/22 Amdt 1","content":"## AD/APU/22 Amdt 1","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"APS 3200 APU Software Upgrade","sectionType":"part","heading":"APS 3200 APU Software Upgrade","content":"## APS 3200 APU Software Upgrade","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"6/2021","sectionType":"part","heading":"6/2021","content":"## 6/2021","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"kimi_summary":{"content_quality":"ok","complexity_score":3,"scope_assessment":{"changed":false,"description":"This amendment maintains the original scope.
