The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.\n\n![](image.001.png)\n\nAMD Falcon 50 and 900 Series Aeroplanes\n\nAD/AMD 50/22\n\nAmdt 1\n\n \nBaggage Compartment Fire Extinguisher 8/2002\n\nApplicability: All Mystere Falcon 900 aircraft serial number 1 through 59 not incorporating Mod M3368 and Mod M874, Falcon 900 aircraft serial number 60 through 187 not incorporating Mod M3368, and Falcon 900EX aircraft not incorporating Mod M3368 or Service Bulletin F900EX-142.\n\nRequirement: Incorporate a support assembly for the baggage compartment fire extinguisher discharge nozzle in accordance with:\n\nDassault Aviation Service Bulletin F900-279 Revision 1 (Mod M3368 and Mod M874) for Mystere Falcon 900 aircraft.\n\nDassault Aviation Service Bulletin F900EX-142 for Mystere Falcon 900EX aircraft.\n\nNote: DGAC AD 2002-261(B) and DGAC AD 2001-192-034(B) Revision 1 refers.\n\nCompliance: Within 330 flight hours after the effective date of this Directive, but, no later than 8 February 2003.\n\nThis amendment becomes effective on 8 August 2002.\n\nBackground: The manufacturer reports that the baggage compartment fire extinguisher nozzle can be damaged, resulting in insufficient distribution of the fire-extinguishing agent in the event of a compartment fire.\n\nThis amendment adds a requirement by the manufacturer to incorporate a modification not previously incorporated on certain serial number aircraft. Additionally both models of aircraft now have unique Service Bulletins to reflect the requirements.\n\nAMD Falcon 50 and 900 Series Aeroplanes\n\nAD/AMD 50/22 Amdt 1 (continued)\n\nThe original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 6 September 2001.\n\n![](image.002.png) \n\nEugene Paul Holzapfel\n\nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority 28 June 2002\n\n![](image.001.png) \n\nThe above AD is notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 17 July 2002.","sortOrder":0}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"A positive credit balance is required for all requests, including BYOK, so fallback providers remain available.
