The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.\n\n![](image.001.png)\n\nAirbus Industrie A330 Series Aeroplanes\n\nAD/A330/12\n\nAmdt 1\n\n \nRam Air Turbine Rotary Solenoids 10/2004\n\nApplicability: AIRBUS A330 aircraft, models \\-201, \\-202, \\-203, \\-223, \\-243, \\-301, \\-302, \\-303, \\-321, \\-\n\n322, \\-323, \\-341, \\-342 and \\-343, all serial numbers, fitted with RAT module, model\n\nERPS06M part number (PN) 766351, 768084, 770379, 770952 or 770952A, all serial\n\nnumbers, containing RAT actuator PN 5911905, 5911326 or 5913234.\n\nRequirement: 1. Identify the serial number (SN) of the affected actuator in accordance with the instructions of AIRBUS Service Bulletin (SB) A330-29-3083 or later revisions as approved by the French DGAC.\n\n 2. If the actuator SN is greater than 1286, no inspection is required.\n\n 3. If the actuator SN is less than or equal to 1286, inspect the correct position of the rotary solenoids and, if necessary, accomplish the corrective measures in accordance with instructions given in AIRBUS SB A330-29-3083 or later revisions as approved by the French DGAC.\n\nNote: DGAC AD F-2002-422R2 refers.\n\nCompliance: Unless previously accomplished prior to 30 September 2004\\.
