In monument installations, the respective non-used hat-rack connections between monument and outer skin are stowed. It was noticed during production, that the distance between the stowed wire harness and the monument could be too small. This condition, if not corrected, could lead to the short circuit of wires dedicated to oxygen, which, in case of emergency, could result in a large number of passenger oxygen masks not being supplied with oxygen, possibly causing personal injuries. |\n\n| | For the reasons described above, this Directive requires the modification of the stowed hat rack connectors, together with the rerouting of the associated wire harness in case of monument installed in the door 2 area. |\n| --- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n\n![](image.001.png) \nJames Coyne \nDelegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority\n\n17 April 2009","sortOrder":0},{"sectionNumber":"AD/A330/102","sectionType":"part","heading":"AD/A330/102","content":"## AD/A330/102","sortOrder":1},{"sectionNumber":"Door 2 Hat Rack Electrical Connectors","sectionType":"part","heading":"Door 2 Hat Rack Electrical Connectors","content":"## Door 2 Hat Rack Electrical Connectors","sortOrder":2},{"sectionNumber":"6/2009","sectionType":"part","heading":"6/2009","content":"## 6/2009","sortOrder":3}],"analysis":{"flash_summary_failed":{"failed":true,"reason":"Unauthenticated.
